Went to The Tregib for 90s night, unfortunately, that had been cancelled, but the Tregib didn't disappoint... They fired up the karaoke machine. The owner (I think he's the owner) is very good at getting people up singing, and not always in the groups they are out with. It's good for the atmosphere and brings people together. We didn't have food in our most recent trip, but have eaten there and the food is lovely. Chef is very accommodating!

Glad to see that the Tregib Arms has opened under new management. We went for the Sunday dinner, knowing that a very good local chef (Emerson) is doing all the cooking. The food was excellent, as was Emersons famous cheese cake - that on its own is worth a visit! Portions are very generous, you wont leave there hungry. We plan on trying different food on a different night next time, will be worth the wait if its as good as the Sunday roast. Highly recommended, theres nothing else that comes close in the area.

Just returned from Sunday lunch in the Pit Wheel and we couldn't fault anything . The French onion soup was to die for and the mushroom and bacon salad starter was delicious. Our main course was beautiful with a choice of deliciously cooked meats and vegetables. The service was amazing and with drinks the bill was just over £30. Didn't have room for dessert so I brought it home will update on the cheesecake later . Many thanks to all of the staff can't wait to return .
